How did you get pictures of a car in Webster NY which is 10 miles from me? You are no where near here.

Still can't get use to stripes not going all the way down over the bumpers, etc. IMO - Looks like a guy with his front teeth missing but then again...........to each his own

Mike,

Your stripes look great! Well Done. Are those 10 inch stipes?

I hope those aren't the accessory stripes that Ford is offering. Please say they are aftermarket!
Those are EXACTLY the stripes Ford is offering.

And if that dealership says they're not, it's one heck of a coincidence that a dealer here in town has them on 2 '05's and several '04's.
And they didn't put them on the '04's until after the '05's came in.
Yes, they're a bunch of IDIOTS at this dealership.
Bondy's Ford, Dothan, AL.
NEVER go there.
I won't even step foot on the lot.
They're rude and they're crooks.

How wide were those stripes on the white 05? About what width would look good?

u know, now that you mention it, while those skinny stripes look like on an 05, my imagination seems to think they'd look kinda nice on an 04*. hmmmm u gots pix?

*that is, if they went all the way down the bumpers

As far as the thought of not wanting the stripes to be the same width all the way back, I recall that the '60s Shelbys weren't to give the illusion that they were (does that make sense?) In other words, the stripes widened and narrowed to make up for the optical illusion created by the body lines.

Mike, yours has got to be one of the nicest jobs I've seen! VERY nice.

Bill, I see below your avatar that you have a 300C. I followed behind a 300C today that was Silver with Chrome Alloys. Wow, it was awesome......but I'm partial to Silver. It would be nice to have a Silver Hemi C and Silver Mustang GT sitting side-by-side in my garage.....but I'm just a bit short in the $$$ department.

I have seen Mike's car live and in person.
The stripes are soooooooooooo beutiful.
This guy did a superb job. It really sets off the back end.
It is truly a work of art.

I haven't seen the stripes in person but from the pics he has the best stripe job hands down. The guy from Germany with the White Mustang is a close second.

Show me some FORD stripes for the '05 that are wider than that.
Not aftermarket, FORD.

I think the stopping at the hoods (front/rear) was to give the impression of how the striping was with the chrome bumpers of yesteryear. Guess what.....these aren't chrome bumpers. In other words....yes, they should have finished them off....
