My Real Projector Headlights --- Forget 08 HID's and H13 Bulbs.--
I contacted a guy who does concept car headlights and projector retrofits and asked him what he could do for the new mustangs. Showed him what was out there, and asked him to mimic the stock reflector so that the fogs wouldnt look wierd. Well this is what he came up with, he will chrome the abs plastic piece and it will look like the dodge ram relflector as pictured.
Price for this is around $500, unfortunately this is a custom job, but I have one set ready to go, if anyone is interested. It includes everything needed to install and get them running.
Parts included:
infinti fx bi-xenon projectors
ballasts
harnesses
bubls
custom abs shrouds to mimic stock reflector (these can be black as pictured or chrome as with the dodge truck)
email or pm if you are interested, projector light output is simply amazing! I didnt get a chance to install these but someone will really enjoy them.

You will usually have to provide a set of headlights, but one person who picks up my set will be able to use the headlights I purchased and are pictured above. Here are some more shots of the abs bezels chromed.

OK, I'm confused. How can there be a set ready to go, but you're uncertain if they're going to be black or chromed? Can you at least stick them in a car so we can see what they'll look like?

I agree. I have piles of BMW and Audi projectors laying around from my little ebay enterprise. I've actually contemplated finding a cheap set of stock likes and hacking them up to install the projectors. It looks like there's plenty of room in the housing. Maybe when I come back from vacation...

I understand that it may look different than the stock reflector, but from a distance it would mimic the stock reflector and in my opinion look pretty slick if you had the black abs shroud around the projector chromed. The lights would be far superior to the Saleen and 2008 OEM HID set-ups. I have seen both in person and compared to my 2004 Acura TL projectors, I wouldnt even put them in the same league.
If you do this on your own you will need to find a set of stock headlights and pay my guy around $700 for parts and labor for the headlights. These are $500 out the door, with my headlights included for free. I'm just trying to get these on a car, because I think they would perform and look great. Contact me if you are seriously interested, and I can give you all his contact information and website. He wanted to stay lowkey until we have a home for my set.

Too Modern for these car, just my opinion. I'm in my 36 and I just don't dig the fast and furious look on a car that was derived from a late 60's car. Don't get me wrong, they look cool on the big BMW's and Benzo's etc. Just not american muscle.. Like I said JMO.
