I was thinking of transfering the badge from the first grille on to the new one. It is a Scott Drake emblem off of a 65-68 (I think).
Haven't decided yet. Kind of like the black-out look. Looks more stealthier (if such a word exists).

Also, somebody said that maybe I should put the original pony back in the middle. Not sure about doing that though. It would then look like a V6 grille (no offense to the 6'ers out there).

Have to say, your car looks great both ways!
I think I like the Bullitt look better, looks a little more...mature? refined? Anyway it kicks a**! I think I wouldn't go with an emblem on the grill at all if it were me, that's kind of the point of a blank grill isn't it?

i think it looks pretty good with the bullit grill. hopefully soon, someone tries shaving the grill from behind to open up the other holes. that is the only thing that i don't like about it.
if i had to choose between the two, i would have to go with your first grill though.
have you thought about removing the side emblems and filling the holes? i think that would look pretty good with the badge-less grill.

I gotta say the Bullitt grille has really grown on me- very nice. When I first went to order my car I was hoping to order with a v6 grille- but found out Ford dont do anything special, AND the nose was different anyway...I ended up copying 'myltlpony's' idea of the push on door edge chrome around the grille - I really like it beter than stock, but the wider chrome on the bullitt looks way better...kinda adds to the oldschool look even more
my only worry there would be the hood lift issue getting worse- I really think the stock hood needs some extractors added to both relieve some pressure and help cool the intake for more power- especially for heat-soaked/low speed 'off the line' stuff...I keep hoping someone will come up with a set with drains and whatnot for the stock(or any) hood...
