My Interceptor Tribute Car!

Good Afternoon!
I've posted here before, but looking at all the great cars here, I became inspired. I wanted to relocate my foglamps to the lower grille, as there appeared to be holes made for them. a local garage fabbed the mounts, and off I went! The same shop swapped out grilles; I had the Pony grille with the integral fogs. They put a standard grille on, and painted the Pony matte black.

I'm a big fan of the Mad Max films. I knew it was unlikely that I'd ever own an Austrailian 1973 Ford Falcon XB, and I wanted something new and reliable. So I began modding my '08 Mustang to look like the Interceptor. I removed the Tri-bar Ponies from the fenders and added the MFP Badges in their place. I removed the phony gas cap from the rear end and added the CDC delete plate. I added the Solar Wing from American Muscle; it's pretty close to the upper fin on the Interceptor. I just added the shorty antenna so it doesn't look like I'm going fishing!

I'm only ay 22,000 miles right now. I'd like to add a Weiand Supercharger, but I think I'll go with a turbo instead. I'll probably add that once I'm out of warranty!

I forgot...I added the duals from a Mustang GT. I need to replace the right muffler, as the previous owner cut the tip to ride flush with the bumper. What do you think? Should I replace it, or cut the left tip to match?

Looks good! I'd say cut the left tip.

either cut the left to match, or maybe you can weld or clamp on some aftermarket tips for both? flowmasters for example... http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/searchfmm/search_cat.php?cat=7&sub=57&sc1=Exhaust%20Accessor ies&sc2=Exhaust%20Tip&sc3=&sc4=

or why don't you do the quad tip exhaust that exits ahead of the rear tire like the original?

I thought about doing that, but the GT right side muffler was already installed. I'd have had to rip it all off and start from scratch. Plus, the way I wanted to run the pipes, they'd have to run under the rear floor pans, which appear to be made of plastic...

Thanks! All the great folks here have been educating me on the pros and cons of turbochargers versus superchargers. Even if I went with the supercharger, it seems that most of the current ones don't use a Scott-type air hat. Most of the intakes now are under the hood.

Yeah, instead of the Shaker scoop that Mustangs most go with, how about one of these set up like a Shaker:
