I'm certainly partial to Legend Lime and I always thought the GT500 would have looked great in LL. Your GT350 looks great, however here's what I would have done different:
  1. Shelby 67 Series wheels
  2. GT500 style spoiler or better yet...no spoiler at all.
  3. Remove all standard "GT" badges.
  4. Cobra faux gas cap at the rear - the black panel just seems out of place on a Shelby tribute IMHO.
Otherwise looks great!

I absolutly love it! What a great job, couple of things:
+1 on the badge to the passanger side back
Get rid of the GT bages on the fenders.
You have done a perfect job and should be very proud.
Rims will be a hard choice, so many out there.

Kelly, you nailed it with #1. The CS67 wheels are AWESOME!!! I LOVE MINE and get SO many compliments!!! I waited over a year for them to be available in 18 x 8.5 (factory size for my BFG's that came with my fanblades), and when I put them on, and stood back, WOW!!! It really looks like a '67 now!!! CSWheel company makes a FANTASTIC product!!!

I really do like the CS67's, I have them and two others in mind. I guess your very happy with them from your post, I have been waiting from input from someone who has had them a while, hows the finish and build on the wheels?

Where did you purchase them?

Are the fender GT badges pegged or just dbl back tape?

Everything on them is excellent. I couldn't be happier. They even ship them with protective rings around the lip (front and back) so they don't get damaged in transit. I got them from work (my dealer is a Shelby wheels dealer). I too looked high and low for wheels. Had the CT-R wheel all lighed up, but wasn't looking forward to getting new tires (mine are still good with 12K on them), then I looked at the Halibrand Cobra III's, but then again, tires plus that wheel kinda wore off on me. I had always been loving these ever since the company started and they had the '67's in 20". But since I didn't want anything bigger than factory, they were out. You have no idea how happy I was when they announced that the '67's were coming out in 17" and 18" sizes.

I have a Shelby Wheels dealer only 30mins from me, I'll call tomorrow and get a quote, what should I expect to spend for a set 18's?

The grill emblem is a combination of a stock 07 GT500 Snake and a repro 67 Shelby 350 grill emblem with some carefull dremil work and epoxy. The whole thing once epoxied together mounts in the stock holes in the grill.

The Shelby dash emblem is the metal Cobra sticker that I removed from the repro 67 GT350 grill emblem before mounting the 07 GT500 Snake.

Nice touch with the center caps, makes the rims look unique and period muscle.

Hey Kelly, here is a link from when I posted the pics in the Exterior Mods section a few weeks back. They are the Anthracite color (not much for chrome wheels), and I LOVE THEM! A few pics below!

The retail price for mine are I believe $305 a wheel. Not a bad price at all for these. They also come in black color (look at mine, and where the grey is, its black), and Chrome. The chrome is more money though. They would look GOOD on your car!!! Check out the pics I have above. And either a 235/50 or a 255/45 tire will fit these. Let me know how you made out.

These Konig rims are another choice I have been considering, I'd customize the center caps with a Shelby emblem.
