I have seen cars with the Mustang stripe along the bottom of the doors on each side and some without. Is this a factory option or what? I want to get stripes down the center of my 06' but I do not want to have this stripe in a different color than my center stripe. I came here first because I know I have to go here to get the correct answer first before I go to my dealer and explain things to him.

The lower side stripe is included with the rear spoiler as part of the Exterior Sport Appearance option on the V6 models only. The order guide shows which colors go on which exterior color.

Some people have elected to keep the spoiler and either remove the tape stripe themselves or have the dealer do it.

It's an option on the '06 models to have the tape stripes deleted with either the Exterior Sport Appearance or Pony options.
