I actually got a set of the tri bar pony ones to fit, sort of, I used them without the metal locking ring and forced them in. The caps are made of a pliable plastic and the fingers on the cap will bend without the ring. If you remove the caps a lot, the fingers will eventually break and you'll need a new cap. They make several diameter caps, so make sure you get one that is 2.25".
