Site has been like that for a while. Most of the items you can't order yet but if you send them an email they will put you on the order list. I placed my order for the side window louvers a few weeks ago.

Are the MRT louvres opened(allow light to pass the slits??) Also someone said they "are easily removable for cleaning". I can't understand how unless hinged or bolted from the inside(uncool) Could you please clear this up? And lastly are they the $189 ones??? Thanks

Jerry, I don't like the looks of the street scene ones. For me they stick out too far, too bubbly and I can't stand the ones that keep the shape of the window. The MRT louvers are open and they claim they are removable but cannot be stolen. I have written to them regarding the installation process and have not heard back.
Personally since they say they can be removed for cleaning but not stolen tells me they are bolted on from the inside of the car. You will not see me removing interior panels so I can remove these things.
Once they are on, they stay on.
Yes they are the $189.00 ones. I preordered, have not paid for them and still waiting for an answer on installation.

Thanks for the reply John. I agree that I don't want the ones that keep the shape of the rear window(too small) and I don't care for the bubbly look either. I'll be real interested to hear from you if and when you get yours. I do want the open ones and what you are doing sounds good. Let us all know how they are to install and if they really can be removed(easily) for cleaning.I don't want to have to peel headliners off to remove mounting bolts every time either. Take Care.

Talked to MRT about those Louvers, they are using 3M tape for a bracket you put on the window. The Louvers then slide into that bracket with two bolts holding it down. From the description over the phone it sounds like you bolt it down with a nice long necked wrench that fits between the louvers.
Sounds like the best option so far, I asked why they didn't go about a more permanent window with louvers, said it would have cost them $180,000 to tool it and test.
I still would really like that option instead of taping stuff on to my car - but in this day and age everything is done cheap.

so what your basically saying is they tape a bracket using 3m double face tape to the window and then they slide the louver into it, kinda like hanging a plasma tv on a wall type deal? how is that not stealable? cant you jsut lift the louver up and walk away leaving the bracket taped to the window?
