MRT Cherry 6T6 Hood Designed by Burningman!

The Cherry 6T6 hood seen on MRT's award winning SEMA car designed by our own Doug "Burningman" Schramm is now available!

Featuring a twin scoop design and slighted raised cowl inlays for added flair, this hood can give your Mustang a "ghosted" stripe appearance. Outstanding fit and finish. Mounts and functions as a factory hood.

Site says Glass. Finished underneath. $570, but another $50 for mesh inserts and $60 for the washer relocation kit.

Wow, that looks awesome. If I didnt have a shaker system I'd be all over that. Also like the billet grill with the billet lowers. Where did those come from.

hood

Love the look. Gotta say, though, that the Cali Hood looks better IMO.

Agreed..it suckss..heck I'd be happy with some credit at this point..
Oh well this is why I charge now for everything.
I'd love to have my own biz like that but i know nothing about how to do it.

I had originally inteded for the the 6T6 to just use the Cali dream hood. I never thought they make thier own hood and wasn't informed of that.
I like the openings a tad better on the cali dream hood. Looks alot like the concept hood.

But this one gives people options.

For my latest Centerfire I used a modified Cali Dream hood to fit the new nose better.

Is it functional? So does it have mesh or do you HAVE to get the inserts?

Close, but still no cigar. The concept hood is still yet to be made. The California Dream hood is too tall and the vents on the 6t6 hood are at a slant and not straight on. The S297 design has been out for almost two years now, but yet no concept hood. Grr!!!

Good looking hood. I wonder if the clearance is the same as stock, would help with all the SC packages out there.

Has anyone seen this hood in person or installed it yet? I am somewhat interested, but don't really want to be the first.
