I know, you all wanted more pics by now. Just stopped by the shop but didn't have my camera. Front bumper is installed. Looks nice. They have scuffed up the sides and rear bumper and are ready to install the rest of the parts. Louvers look great. Car will be ready tomorrow afternoon. I'll pick it up, bring her home, stripe the bumpers and then take some shots (both, pictures and drinks )

Neither can I. I can hardly sleep these days. Just got the bill for the work they did as well.

I think I need to start my own charity. Anyone willing to donate to the "Give poor Johnny some money so he can afford to move out of the doghouse" fund. Proceeds will go to my wife so she will shut her trap. Just kidding, I love you dear

when you get your car back you may be sleeping there for a while, but with how good it'll look, that's probably where you'll want to sleep

Well, I've been too busy to get to the paint shop but I will bring them Monday. Here's a shot of them unfinished.

well I don't know what it would cost in the states to get painted but... I paid $900 US for the kit which was $1300 Canadian. To get it painted was $2,000 canadian. So, I have $3300.00 invested in getting the Street scene kit done. That does not include the MRT louvers. I wanted it to be show room quality, nothing less. They guaranteed the paint would not flake off of the parts. I had all of the parts epoxy coated, then primed, then painted. Looks really good. I'll get some pics of it tonight and tomorrow at the car show.

After that I have to start increasing the size of my dog house. I figure since the wife is gonna put me out there for a while I may as well be comfortable.

Well got the car back. Looks great. Louvers are not completely stuck in place and they didn't use the metal brackets because they said they couldn't get the louvers to sit flush with them. I'll take them off next week and redo them. Anyway, here are some pics. Not the greatest since it is dark out so I will get more tomorrow. I thought the factory bumper was a pain to install stripes on, this one was a nightmare.

Let me be the first to say that your car looks f'in SWEET! The final product looks fantastic. Body kit/MRT louvers and all.... just magnificent.

Btw, could you take some pics from the inside of your car... i'm interested to see the visibility of the MRT louvers.

OMG, Adrenalin - looks great! (and talk about Zaino! - right? )

If you can, please post a straight-on full side shot - I like to see how the louvres look overall with all the car's lines. They look great, though.

Got my louvres today - very quick. Now I gotta figure out where to get them painted. How did you choose a body shop?

Can anyone recommend a good one in the Brooklyn & beyond area?

I have a new respect for the MRT window louvers. I never really liked them on their site, but seeing them on your car really shows off the nice straight lines the SS louvers lack.

I'll post more pics today once I take some at the car show.

Jack, actually it is Mequire's NXT I'll take a good side shot today. As for the body shop, I took mine that specializes in hot rods. They even matched the metallic flake perfectly.

Your car looks awesome, John. Excellent execution and good choice in body shops! I've been looking forward to seeing these pix for a while, and they completely satisfied my curiosity.

Donna, thanks for the preview. I'm sure your louvers will look just as nice on your white pony.

I don't know what your plans are for the lower grille, but are you going to install anything in that opening? I'm just concerned about stone damage, bugs, etc.

Enjoy your day at the show!
