I'm very happy with the quality of them. I'll have pics by next weekend of the finished product. As for the mouting kit, Kim informed me that they will be shipping out the mounting kits free of charge when they receive them. I will have to find out what is up with that.

 

Well I stopped in at the body shop to see how my car was doing since it was suppose to be ready tomorrow. Ends up they just started working on it today :bang: Car won't be ready until next week unless a miracle happens :bang: :bang:

well that is part of the problem. I can't complain. I know one of the owners and they are already giving me a pretty good deal. Just hope it is done soon enough because I need to restripe the bumpers and work on the engine compartment before a show on the 23rd.

btw, how much would it cost to have those painted, if you dont mind.. Id like to order some of those for my 06 GT...

 

I got a call yesterday from Kim at MRT. My louvers will be here on Friday! I can't wait.

John, did you get the front and back painted the same color? I was wondering if the inside should be black or are you suposto paint it the same color as the front.

 

I called Kim at MRT on Monday evening and ordered a set of these. They were sitting on my porch when I got home from work today! The quality is awesome...they did a great job on them. I already took them to the body shop and they hope to have them ready for me by Friday. I'm having the outside painted WB and the inside flat black. I'll post pics when they're installed.

I am having the inside of them painted satin black.

 

Man, if my car is ready for tomorrow I will be happy and sad at the same time. Now the sign shop forgot to order my vinyl so I won't have enough to stripe the new front fascia. The vinyl won't arrive until next week :bang: Looks like if it's not one thing it's another.

Bro I HEAR you.... I got out of work an hour early drove 35 minutes down to the body shop........ and they weren't done buffing the hood out yet...... :bang:

So tomorrow I have to take a long lunch and shoot down there again.... oy.....

I drove over to the body shop. They have fitted everything and removed the parts. They have been epoxy coated and primed. Primer was drying, so they will start painting them tomorrow. Car definately won't be ready until Monday or Tuesday

 

Can't wait to see! Mine were shipped, should have them today. I'll bring them right over to the painter!

 

It's going to be a race to the end! Who will post pics first? I dunno, my money is on Robyn. Seems like Adrenalin's peeps are taking their sweet time

 

Ya, I doubt mine will be first to show. First to get them, last to show them, but that is because I am getting a lot done and they are making sure that everything is show room quality. They did a lot of sanding on the MRT louvers to get rid of all the rough spots in the slot openings. Took a peak at them this morning. They looks really good.

 

Well here are some shots from the body shop. I just stopped in to see how things were going and there was quite the crowd checking out the car . Unfortunately it looks like I won't have the car back until next weekend, just before the car show The good thing is they are doing one heck of a job. They did a real good job sanding down any imperfections in the parts. I can't believe how many bugs are already stuck in the rad. Gonna be alot worse after the new front fascia is installed. Darn country livin'.

Man..I told myself I wasnt going to go all out with the exterior of this car, but if your SSE kit comes out real nice I might just also go that route. Ive always liked Mikes SSE show car. Cant wait to see the car man

 

My 1/4 window louvers showed up late firday afternoon. Monday morning......it's to the body shop for paint! Like John said they're pretty nice. They did come with the 3m tape already placed on the back. Have to wonder how well it will survive the painting though. The instructions did say that if the tape was damaged during painting it would have to be replaced before installation.
