im going to leave it as is. dont want to spend any more money. one thing for sure the car looks good from far away. plus the average joe not going to notice the defects. expect maybe for the decal covering the scoops.

Why didn't you get them Painted black That's all I would do. Like you said,the average joe doesn't notice much.

I just never saw the point of scoops when the front of a new S197 already has about 15 square feet of grille area.

When I saw the first pix I just about fell out of my chair laughing!!! My first thought was "whoa, look at that tumor growing out of his hood" and chortled through the first few pages.

However, I think you managed to recover quite nicely, I'd say the hood looks a LOT better now! When I saw your "after" pic I was surprised! Yes, there are a few minor flaws but to be honest I didn't know better except for the black stickers you placed inside the "scoops." Those look bad. Fix those and I think you are money!

Great job on the GT500 front end BTW.

well i have to say when i saw the hood the first time i just thought that doesnt belong anywhere near a mustang. but, i think it actually looks pretty freakin cool now! good job man.
