Instead of getting inserts, how about you get REAL carbon fiber mirrors. Give me another month, and I should be ready to start producing them.

.... because no one said they wanted carbon fiber rice they wanted painted ones

Hopefully we will get some pictures on a car this weekend. I will post them as soon as we get them. Brad may beat us to it and get them on his car first...and I'm sure he will post some shots.

i'll take a set in legend lime, please

I second that. Awesome idea! A simple but great enhancement to the car's flanks... a wedge of LIME!

Having covers would be hard to do... and would most likely make the mirrors even bigger. Even if it's just a fraction of an inch... the stock mirrors are already too big IMO. I want someone to come out with a side mirror delete, as in some glass or black plastic triangular pieces to put where the stock mirrors are at the bottom/front of the door glass. Then, I could get those bullet "rotunda" style chrome mirrors from the old Shelbys and mount them up at the top of the doors.

It would be easy to do... some company just take off the stock mirrors and use the trainagular base that mounts to the door as a template and make a flat piece to fit in it's place. Glass would be cool, but plastic would work.
I love that idea!! Didn't we see some of those at the SEMA show?

I'd like to see mirrors like the Cervini concept had on their drawing. Totally retro. I was dissaponted they didn't do anything like that.

From all the positive responses, pending more info (pics/costs) - would think a Group Buy would be in order
