Willie, try these:

They're the classic stuff but in in stick-on form - much tidier than the pin-into-holes stuff!

Another question for SteelTownStang,

In the photo of the rear of your '07, are those the stock '07 taillights? I don't remember seeing amber lower lenses on the '07s on my dealer's lot when I ordered mine.

Taillights are stock. I did install CDC sequentials, however, had no effect on the color. The part number for the lettering is EMB-21 at Mustang Parts House. I purchased the Mustang script at SS Inserts... a little expensive, however, fits perfectly in that location. I took some pictures today with the realignment of the letters.

I see what you're saying... It's just the way the sun was reflecting and the orange glow from the fall leaves. You'll see from the recent pics, the amber isn't there...

I hate to keep bothering you but I like the style of that dash script. It looks like the 68 fender script but the "G" is different. I've done several searches and have been all through the SS Inserts web page and cannot find that exact script.

This is as close as I've gotten from Mustangs Unlimited. but as you can see it is not the same.

This one points to all of the "Scott Drake" emblems and I don't see it there either.

John - here's the measurements from my original post on the trunk lettering back in March '05......

Awesome mods. Just one question: How much trouble did you have putting the M U S T A N G on the decklid? I have been thinking about doing that on my Black GT (I agree, that would stand out big time) but have been waiting for someone else to do it first so I could ask how it was done! I am really jumpy about poking that many holes in the trunklid.

Thanks....but don't worry about holes, they're 3M stick-ons 'cause I didn't want to poke any holes either. They're Scott Drake reproductions, $18.95 from any of the resto companies (I dealt with Mustangs Unlimited), Part # C5ZZ1609801). A company called KSR also makes them but they're not as good quality as Scott Drake.

And here's your install tips if you like. Firstly, I've been **** about the location of stuff, trying to place the new emblems where they went on the old cars. So, I researched the lettering placement (but had to modify the height). Start with the middle "T" and mount it in the middle, half-way between the top of the trunk lip and the bottom of the 3rd brake light. The distance from the bottom edge of the "T" to the trunk lip works out to about 9/16th ". Then, true to 60's specs, locate the middle of the first "M" 11 3/4" from the left edge of the trunk, and the middle of the last "G" to the same distance from the right edge of the trunk. Your "U-S" on the left and "A-N" on the right then go about 4 1/2 " apart (at their centres), eg. the centre of the "U" will be about 4 1/2" from the centre of the "M" and so on. Anyways, it turned out fine. Get out the q-tips for wax though.....what a pain.

Good luck, they'll look GREAT on black!

Mark

No, similar but not the same as either one. It's the script in the center picture in post #18 of this thread by SteelTownStang.

No bother Bob. I just check the SS Insert site myself. You're right, the Mustang script emblem is no longer there . I'd call them... maybe they still have some that's not listed on their website. The code# is SSME. I purchased the emblem from them on 10/07/07 for $19.95. I had two other scripts that were bigger and IMO did not look OEM. This one was unique and looked OEM. If I ever see it posted somewhere else I'll PM you
