MAG Radiator Cover Extensions with WMS CAI

This mod requires trimming the Western Motor Sports (WMS) Cold Air Intake (CAI) ram air box with a Dremel.
First, while holding the Midwest Auto Gear radiator cover extension in place take a silver Sharpie pen and mark the overlap.

Second, trim the WMS CAI ram air box on the outer edge of the silver line with a Dremel tool.

Third, remove nut and insert well nut.

Fourth, install MAG radiator cover extensions.

Thanks! I forgot a fifth step!
The silver sharpie line can be covered using a black Sharpie.

looks great. on a separate note - I see you have an aftermarket hood liner. Any chance you can post up or PM me a close up pic of how the washer fluid hose attaches to/through the liner?

Thanks

Hey that really looks great!

I make the liners, I cut 2 slits so that the washer hose can attach to the outside of the liner instead of the inside. My liners are attached with adhesive and if the hoses go below the liner then the liner will have to be torn if you need to replace the hose due to any possible obstruction down the road. They're made of aircraft firewall material that's superior to stock and that other plastic liner I've seen offered. Plus they don't soak up any underhood fluids nor will they rot out.

Great job, that's really sharp!!

Through the grill and under the lip of the hood. Look on top of either foglight and you'll see an opening in the cover for the upper tie bar.

Looks great - That certainly streamlines the engine bay - I always thought Ford should move the ABS hardware out of the way. Seems like there is room in the front fascia behind the turnsignal.

I miss the old days when you would open the hood and all you saw was engine and headers.
