I dig the lower rocker stripes on the upcoming Shelby GT500. Does anyone have the source for the stripes and/or the dimensions? Thank you in advance...

I've checked the dimensions in the pics and the stripes themselves appear to be the same as the original Shelby stripes from '65.

Of course the width and style of the lettering and the amount of stripe that is on the front fender will have to be different since there isn't as much room on the '05+ as on a '65.

Check my album. I got my stripes there, and I think they are a pretty close match to the original Shelbys. They don't have the dots after the GT, but so what? Most cars I saw positioned theirs so the center stripe ended at the front edge of the door. I ended up taking the center stripe across the door seam onto the front quarter. There is wiggle room to do as you please. Also, these stripes were actually made for the 05, not the classics.

Just a thought: I followed the lower edge of the C scoop for alignment, but this slants up slightly compared to the rocker panel. When my car is level, the stripes slant up in the back. (a little) I do intend to drop the back end a bit, but I kinda wish I had followed the rocker panel rather than the hockey stick.

Here's what I've drawn up to have put on mine since I couldn't find any that were exactly like the '07 Shelby.
The ratios are right, I just have to enlarge the pic when I print it out.

With these there is plenty of room to have overlap before and after the "GT 300" just like the original and the '07.

I wanted some original style rocker panel stripes, too. I copied the dimensions off of a friend's 68 Shelby GT 500KR and they are the same as the ones mentioned by StangNut. I had a local TrimLine shop do them up for me and install them. I didn't want any words in the stripes because a) I think it's cleaner that way, and B) if someone doesn't know it's a Mustang already he probably can't read anyway. With the rear panel it's just the look I was going for.

Love that color combo. Especially with the rear blackout piece.

The stripe looks a little high for my taste, but I think that's because of the body color rocker moulding of the GT.
