I just recieved some stainless steel lower grill inserts. They go where the honeycomb sections are on the sides. It looks like I have to drill to small holes in that area to attach them. Does anyone know how to remove it from bumper or does whole bumper have to come off to get it out. I want the easiest possible solution. If it wont come out on its own, I will probably just try to eye the holes and drill them in place. Thanks for any help. It should look nice when done I will add pictures. Little cold out today so I figured I had time to see if anyone has removed that section etc. Thanks for any info

nobody has done anything to there bumper or lower grills to be able to tell me how it comes apart? I am surprised as much modding going on that no one has messed with this area at all. Please anyone with any info on lower grill and how it attaches please chime in. thank you.

Very easy / simple to remove. From the back side of the bumper cover (get under the car) look for the snap tabs that hold the grill into the cover. These are flexible. I found it easier to gently pry on the cover at the tab with a flat blade screw driver and pull on the grill to get the the tab unseated. I think there are only 4 to 6 of them. Popped mine off one time to see what it would look like w/o.

Well I got my stainless steel lower grill inserts done. I am quite happy with them. Let me know what you think. Not too hard of an install. Just a little drilling into the bumper cover and the lower grill itself. But pretty easy.

Yah I think I might have too. I wasnt really thinking of that to begin with. I am not sure who sells that grill. I'll have to do some checking around. Thanks
