Lower grill GT/CS fogs.

Just an FYI for those interested. I am putting the GT/CS fascia on the stang in the next week or two. I would really like to put the Shelby lower grill on it but not without the fog light/brake ducts as shown on the Shelby GT. I spoke with someone at Shelby and they said the following:

"We will have a lower fog lamp assembly that will accompany our lower grille by the beginning of Nov. this year."

Thought I would pass this along, first I have heard of a definitive timeframe for this. I think it would look killer with the new Bullit grill or a black billit grill.

Awesome. I was just trying to find out if those lights were available for sale a few days ago...

i agree that I would like to add the lower lights, and maybe a black billet grill to the top, removing the giant FOGs inte center - perhaps...

I started posting on #18 with info on a lower grill for the GT/CS, still in the works, waiting to get my car back. Any questions, let me know.

I may be wrong, but I think their's will match their upper billet grill not the honeycomb.

Correct. The Shelby lower grill matches the Shelby upper billet grill. It is not honeycomb.

Doug,

Is the one your fabricator is working on the honeycomb grill instead of the billet? If so I would get the lower fogs and the bullit grill probably. Def keep us posted on that baby.

Yes to the honeycomb. have two options in mind, 1 is just a plain honeycomb to fill the gap and match the upper stock grill.
#2 will have 2" cut outs for the PIAA fog lights ( which I have a set to go in) these will be at the outter edges of the current opening.
Other options will be raw aluminum or black anodized. Figure most will want them anodized.

I would definetly be interested in this then. I would prefer to fill that hole and have the option of lower fogs or keeping my center fog grille. Cant wait to hear how this turns out.
