I would say no, you could leave them in place, although you will need to be careful so you don't damage the paint on them.

Well Marcello, I found some proof that you are earning a great reputation in places other than the forums. I went to a tire/rim store(Discount Tire) and one of the employes saw my car. He saw my louvers and instantaneously asked me, "Have you seen the louvers that you replace the rear window with? They look great!" Lol, I didn't realize that your products could spread that fast!

Anyway, keep up the good work!

We are shipping about 6-10 sets a day, and so we're looking good to be done by the end of the week. I'm going to pick up Legend Lime, Grabber Orange, and some others right now.

I still need to wash the car and take pictures, but they are in and they look great!

I know Tungsten is a hard color to match and it is a bit off, but it doesn't bother me at all. It is similar to the color difference between the bumpers and the main body and that was from the factory that way. Most people can't even tell the difference.

So has anyone bit the bullet and tried these scott drake pieces on the new louvers by shr. I would love to see how the fit etc. Well if anyone takes the dive post some pics please.

If the color on the pre-painted ones doesn't quite match , those might be good to break up the line between the louvers and the rest of the car so you don't notice it as much ...

 

I'm hoping "some others" include windveil blue!

 

I'd actually like to see that piece painted body color and installed w/ a set of louvers.

I orderd mine unpainted but hav decided to have them done.
What is the turn around time now if I ship mine back to you and have them painted.
What is the cost to get them painted.
I would need them in Vista Blue.

I know I'm lagging. I wanted to wash the car yesterday but it rained... in San Diego! What are the chances? So I've got bad water spots right now. I'll try to get some pics today though.
