Mine is on lower drivers side, but on my first car it was lower passenger side. I've heard conflicting reports on the "official" location of it, and at this year's MCA show here in Las Vegas, I saw lots of cars with it in each corner. So I guess wherever you think it looks best is where you should put it.
Anyone seen these yet? http://www.shelbyautos.com/ShowDetail.asp?id=62
I might have to drive up to Shelby after I get my SHR louvers installed, and try them out (if I can) without sticking them on.
It'd be nice to see how they look around the painted louvers, too.

Wouldn't it be closer to OEM if you chromed the trim? Don't get me wrong. I'm going over to Shelby and pick these up. So when I install my louvers I can also install the trim...it'll most likely be black for me on the trim, and I'll keep the louvers the 'stock' smokey color. I also think if I limo tint the rear window it'll help darken the color of the louvers without painting them.
Thanks for the link.

Ok OK, I just joined the pre-ordered group, I opened up the link on pg 34 and had to have them!!!
So I ordered them on the Silverhorse site, is that all there is to it? I also heard painting will be offered, does anybody know how that will work?
Nice job so far Silverhorse,

Nice job so far Silverhorse,
Those trims actually would make the car closer to the '66 GT350 if you left the stock window in. All the rest had body-colored vents (except for the mesh and grill parts). Now that I think about it, I might have to consider that, as the '66 GT350 is my favorite Mustang. However, I like the look these replacements will have, too. Man, too many choices!
Just waiting to post the good news, but I haven't heard it yet regarding the material... maybe today....
Other good news coming, just need to wrap up a couple more things before posting about it.

I saw those awhile ago and have it saved to favorites waiting for them to be released

It'd be closest to OE if there was no trim at all...
... looking forward to the good news ...
