Hello to all I'm a newbie Sooooo.... Anyways I'm kinda stuck I'm looking for a Shelby Deep Draw hood. It was a feature on the CS6 and CS8 Shelby's. The problem is that they discontinued the hood awhile back. If anyone knows of ones location or if anybody is willing to sell one please let me know thanks 👍

 

IIRC, the deep draw hood was only available if you had a registered Shelby...they wouldn't sell it to you otherwise. I tried but had to go with the regular CS6 hood (not as deep, no functional vents). I ordered mine through late model restoration

I mean, sure, *technically*, but...

 

So I've decided on this hood as well and it's unfortunate how uncommon it is. Well after lots of searching, I have found a functional version from various sites. On every site it seems to be the same hood produced by AIT. My issues are that all of the following places have shady reviews (or none at all), extremely harsh restrictions on returns and I'm not even sure of AIT's quality itself. I've looked around at threads on these places but I'm curious about a "hood purchase" experience anyone has had from the following:
