Hi guys,

Does anyone know where I can get decals for my 2005 Mustang GT?

I'm based in the UK but i'd rather trust an American firm to get the sizes right.

I'm after two stripes up the front, over the top and down the back (as most others). I'd like them to be around 11" wide with a 1.5" gap.

Please help!!!!!!

cheers

Mart

Hi Mart, and welcome to the TMS!

You might want to take a look at these two:

Bob White Decals

Graphic Express

Good luck!

Think i'll try Graphic Express' 20 piece.
How difficult are they to install for a complete beginner????

Cheers

I got mine from http://www.baltimorestreetmods.com/

Mouse over the center pic and the Sonic Blue car that pops up is mine... That pic only has the side stripes on, but I have since added the dual 10" LeMans stripes.

Took me a weekend to stripe the car. Patience is the best tool.

Make sure the surfaces you are going to stripe are ABSOLUTELY clean. On the front bumper, I pushed the bumper cover down a little to slide the stripe under the grille and knocked some fine dirt / sand loose. Even the smallest dirt particle will show through the stripe. (you can peel the stripe back and remove the dirt if necessary) So make sure you rinse or blow any dirt out of those areas.

Welcome, Martin. I also recommend Graphic Express and Baltimore Street Mods.

If you've never installed stripes or any other big decals before, I recommend you go to a body shop / paint shop and let them do the install. It'll probably be cheaper than having to order another stripe kit in case you don't get it right the first time, plus you can be sure they'll do a proper job.
Ask for a price quote beforehand, just in case.

I don't, but if you find one, ask for references - so you can see their work. Get some feedback - it may save you some heartburn later.

10" stripes like on the FR500C racecar, in black or blue:

Sutton High Performance

Price is cheaper than on FRPP website, and they do ship to EU.
