Latching Hood pins
Latching Hood pins
Today i installed the Shelby CS6 hood pins and i really didn't like the quality or the look that much, especially due to the potential of scratching the hood on the way in and out if you didn't spend 15 minutes removing them under the microscope :S
i got another set of pins from OMP Racing which i didn't quite like either, although it has guide rails for the pins.. it was in very thin Red Aluminum that looked tacky
the attachments show the CS6 pins fitted, and the other pins i got but didn't like in Blue and Red
can anyone suggest a decent hood pin kit that has a spring latching mechanism and a guide rail?
i found one made by http://www.aerocatch.com/ but i'm really not keen on drilling out 1x3 inches of my hood to fix that in
then i came across possibly the best pins ever made.. by http://www.hoodpins.com/
but everything is out of stock, and they won't be producing more anytime soon...
Help!!
