Flames on their car? Like ghost flames? I flirted with the idea before I bought the car and always thought the idea of silver or white ghosting flames would look amazing on VB. Thoughts.... pictures of any flames, ghosting or non, on the car?

That link doesn't seem to work for me, but here's links to 2 pics. Very sweet IMO. Would love to see more pics of something like this, especially on a Redfire!

Here's another picture - not "ghost" at all, but very all-american, hot-roddy, classic cool -

At first I wanted the enitre front end ghost flamed. I changed to a 2tone with only a few flamed touches ...

2005RedGT I like your tasteful use of the realistic flames.

Bugstang I've seen a car similar to that sold at Hall Ford in Hampton. Nice addition of the SHR louvers.

They all look great but i wouldnt call any of them ghost flames. Ghost flames are usually pearls that only show up when light hits them or you view them from the right angle. These all seem to be just flames but then again i've never tried to take a picture of ghost flames

Bugstang, I love the profile of your front end. What chin spoiler is that? I'm getting my CDC aggressive chin installed this afternoon... been hanging onto it for 2.5 years, finally got it painted... dammit!

Mine are a " Ghost Stripe/ Flame " style, and yes they are hard to see. Well they are, hard to see under different lighting .

@ 48prerunner Ghost flames are difficult to photo...so most photos you see of them are with them showing...mine are very hard to see if the light isnt hitting them right. alot of care was taken to get them in the light for the pictures.

@ IlikeBond Its the ground effects kit from Razzi
@ MustangBrother Ill be there..its like 20 minutes from my house.

Bugstang, there is one that looks very similar to yours around here. You don't happen to drive her around South Jersey much do you?

Nope...but the paint and body is done by a compnay called MarkIII Customs. they make a few and sell to different dealerships. Thinking mine was unique at first, i was a little peaved at this, but since then i have just worked to make mine unique from even those with my own midifications, IE blackout grille, SHR Louvers, Lowering it, interior, stereo, and intake/tune along with the STS by MGW.

I know it's hard to have the only one, unless you are the one doing the paint and body work and no one knows the base color combinations or the brand of paint you used. I had a '79 trans am that I airbrushed a mechanical eagle on the hood,so it was an exclusive, since I was an offical tester of the HOK shimrin pearls, when they where in the test development of their new line,I was sent all different sample colors to use,the eagle took a total of 40 hrs to finish,a lot of fine line tapeing and masking.

I went to the world of wheels back in the 80's and there was a 55 chevy on display it was painted a pearl white with gold tint with gold pearl gost flames, the car was on a carosel and as it went around ,one minute the flames where there, then the next time they where gone. the sharpest paint job I ever saw,it was totally amaizing.who ever painted that car was one hell of a painter.
