The aggressive chin requires "modifications" to the stock bumper. The classic is just a stick/bolt on.

I allmost got the Aggressive chin spoiler but didnt want to modify that much. I really like the quality of the classic spoiler and it uses all the factory holes

factory holes?? does that mean, no drilling needs to be done on the classic? how exactly do u install it, does it go right over something or do you need to take a piece off and replace it?

From what I was told, it goes right over the exsisting bumper and uses the screws that right inside the wheel well. No need to take the wheels off.

If mine would ever get here, I would get it painted yellow and put it on........

Anyone have a pic of it in yellow and installed on the car?
Thanks

I met a guy a car show this weekend and he said the agressive spoiler didn't fit and he was sending it back. I guess you have to do some cutting or something to get it to work.

Also, anyone know where I can get the regular spoiler already painted?

yeah there are two screws you have to take out on each side in the wheel wells(dont have to take the wheels off) You will reuse the screws. Also there are two push pins to hold up the spoiler but ford must had anticipated something because there are allready holes on the bottom of your stang for the push pins. No drilling whatsoever. Then as a extra measure there is 3m tape on the top to help hold it on. Its very solid I have had mine on for like a month now with no problems. The spoler comes out more than down so no need to worry about scraping it you just want to watch them what I call KILLER speedbumps in parking lots you know the ones that stick up higher than normal.

www.partshopper.com

Got my black prepainted chin spoiler sitting in the box, waiting for me to install when the hood stripes, black rear spoiler from spoilerdepot, and some other goodies arrive shortly.

I'm getting my Classic back from the paint shop tomorrow (Friday). Install looks like a 15 minute job (or less).

I had CDC e-mail me the instructions for the Aggressive before I bought mine. There was way too much work and cutting involved for me... So I took the lazy way out and went Classic.

It's not yellow, but here is mine. It is a 5 or 10-minute install. Four existing screws in the wheel wells, plus two plastic pins, plus a strip of 3M tape. Done.

It took longer to drive to the paint shop to pick it up than to install it.

I talked to three shops. The quotes were: (1) "at least $100", (2) $180, and (3) $250. I didn't get a real comfortable feeling when talking to the guy who said "at least $100". The guy who quoted me $180 was very knowledgeable, and wanted to have my car there when he mixed and tested the paint so he could get the Sonic Blue tint exactly right to match the car. He told me that factory paint can vary slightly (especially metallics), and he wanted to do it right. So, I went with him... and he nailed it dead on. It is a perfect match to my car. I would rather pay more to get it done right the first time, than have to pay to have it re-done later.

Hey Don, you're a wise man! AWESOME addition to your 'Stang.

At first, I wasn't keen on the idea of adding a front spoiler, but your pix have changed my mind. It really looks well-integrated with the lines of the car. It compliments the front end nicely. And you're right; the color match is perfect.

Thanks, Chris. I'm extremely pleased with the results. If you decide to do it, you won't regret it.
