Insane Paint Job on 07 GT
This is Ed's (Stangwerks) car. It looked pretty **** good to begin with but he wanted to do something different. I saw this car like this on Saturday when we all met there for the Irwindale meet:
And then I was up there on Wednesday and was shocked to see it in their shop completely torn apart. Apparently Ed wanted to do something new and unique to it so they started over. It will be getting a completely new look and based on what I saw with the paint and what he told me about his plans, it will be a killer car.

here is a sneak peak to get an idea of the paint, it changes its look in the sun, especially as you walk around it:

check the link I posted, there isnt any burgandy in the paint; it just looks like it because this paint changes that much in the sun. Thats why I posted that pics I love how it showed the range in one pic. More pics in the thread I linked

Look again. The car is definitely going to be two-tone. He even did the separation striping in the jambs...

Gotcha. The upper portion on the car as it sits in the booth matches the hood scoop, which seems pretty uniform with the exception of the metallic. I thought you were saying the car was a single color that varied from different angles.

Great color, can't wait to the the finished result
I just figured out StilllenMustang07 is the tangello car in a recent mag (sorry forget which magazine)...VERY NICE, great article loved the photo spread. I have an orange thing even if my car is tungsten.

So far Pete's car has Steeda front bumper, Shelby rear, ducktail, BMR suspension, Helion Turbo kit, custom wheels, GT500 fuel pump, and much more!
started like this:
now is this:
As for the the 07 this thread is about, the desire for perfection won out and the decision was made to not rush the paint to make it to the Brea show, which is a good thing. But a lot of progress had already been made on it so it shouldnt be much longer now. I will post updated pics ASAP!
