Question I hope this is in the right forum....

To everyone with Agent47 mirrors. Who did you get them from? How was the delivery time? How's the quality? I'm asking because there are a lot of vendors out there and I find that all you TMS'ers are more reliable when it comes to such things than just going by the websites themselves.

Any help would be appreciated. It's time to start prettying up the ol' girl.

So far the best price i have found them for is on American Muscle, plus they come with free shipping. I might order a set today. The quality is great, i have a friend that has a set and i love them, even though the mirror is a bit smaller than the factory ones.

If you want them prepainted then you might want to check with Silver Horse Racing.

I got my black ones prepainted from Silver Horse Racing and the were perfect. I'd get them from them again without hesitation. I didn't have to worry about someone local messing up the paint job. Just like everything else Marcello does at SHR, these were first class show quality.

Yup got mine from through DaSilva racing here in Canada and they ordered them for me thru SHR. No problems here so far and I drive my car year round.

So American Muscle and SHR. Hmm. Marcello prepaints them also? That might be worth it alone!

only reason i went AM vs SHR is because i have my painter willing to paint my mirrors for less than what SHR wants for the mirrors without paint. But if you do not have a trusted painter then go with SHR.

I don't have a local painter,s o it looks liek I'll be going through Marcello and SHR. Gary, since you ordered from them.. do they paint the mirror housing, arm, and triangle that attaches to the door? Or is it just the mirror housing leaving the rest flat black. I'm askign on the off chance you'll answer before tonight. Otherwise I will just call Marcello tomorrow.

They'll do it either way, but the normal way is all the same color. I think to paint the mirror housing and arm only would be a special order maybe.

Call Marcello though as he knows and I'm just guessing. I usually catch him best at around 4:30pm Eastern time. FWIW

Excellent. I would like my entire unit painted to match the car, but on the site it showed the mirror housing to be white like the car but the arm and attachment triangle black. Thanks for the help guys!

Hey Frank, not sure if you placed your order yet or not, but just wanted to pop in and say that Marcello is great to work with, so you'll definitely be happy.

Cool guys

For the record, standard painting is to do the mirror one solid color.

We can paint the body and leave the base unpainted, same price, but you end up seeing the mold split line.

We can paint the body and paint the base satin black, extra 125.00 but no split line, and no worry about plastic chalking over time, since it is painted. That is what we had on #05, and probably how we will paint the ones going on our 2010. A little more finished appearance close up, but from 5-10 feet away, #2 or #3 look about the same, so it becomes a cost/benefit thing if you need the second color applied or not if going the two-tone route.

Hope that helps

Thanks for the boost UMich!

And Marcello that does help so much! I wanted the mirror one solid color from end to end. So I will be putting in an order asap for a set of Agent47s in the TK color code.

Thanks again everyone.
