Is it just me or are those tires TOYO PROXES S/T II? Those are a performance truck/SUV tire. How do they handle on a car?

Thanks Guys, yes they are toyo light truck/suv tires they handle great I just got back from a driving holiday they handle very well. No road noise and they grab man do they grab. I could tell you a story but I wont. The size on the front is 255/45/18 9 inch wide tread; back is 295/45/18 10 inch wide tread. It took a long time to get them 111 weeks to be exact, I could not be happier. Im thinking that now I dont need a rear sway bar.

Looks good now you need lowering springs. LMS has the FRPP springs for 159 $US.

Well that just might end up being the size I go with. I am in the market for new tires and like the look of beefier tires on the back. I already have 285/40's, was looking at 295/40's but I like the look of those 295/45's. I just never thought of putting a performance truck tire on a car.

Nice! I'm getting ready to install 295/40 10" DD on the rear of mine. Hope they look as good as yours

Thanks guys.

They will Chuck, Im sure you will post a pic or two.

Where I live is a lot of rain so I needed an all season performance tire. So I had it out in the rain the other day I did not push it too hard, but they have a lot of stickability.
I will have to wait a little while and do some ome rain drives to see if I should get a rear sway bar.

stickability <--good stuff can you get a close up shot of the rear tires. I want to see how much or how little the tire hangs over the rim.

They look really good. Hey Glenn, how do you like the ride with 295s on the 9" rim? I'm really dissapointed the the 275s, was gonna go with the 285s because I wasn't sure how well 295s would work on 18x9s.

When I told the guy at American Muscle that I wanted to put 295's on a 10" rim, they said they didn't recommend it. He said the biggest they recommended was 285's for safety reasons. I don't do any crazy driving too much so I'm not worried about it. I wonder what they would say about 295's on a 9" rim?

I think you would be nuts to try to put a 295 on a 9" rim. 10" minimum.
