after all the threads I've read here ,not once have I heard of someone just buying a new trunk.. I tell you what,If I really wanted a trunk with no holes ,I'm sure as hell am not going through the trouble of having someone fill them and all that bull.I'll just buy a new trunk.

But all the replacement trunks come from Ford automatically with the spoiler attached!

I was thinking the same thing. How much is a replacement decklid? And where do you get one from? I really think I'd rather have no spoiler over even a ducktail but I don't want to fill/repaint.

Upon further review....I had mine welded and painted before having the SS ducktail installed. I kinda wish I had tried this instead. No potential for screw-ups; much cheaper and it doesn't look too bad at all.
I've looked all over the web for a replacement deck lid with no luck.

Thanks! That doesn't look bad at all.

At first I thought I could live with the spoiler but I saw a spoiler-less Legend Lime GT pass me the other day and I just love that clean look.

It looks pretty good for about $10 investment ($.54 hole plugs + touchup paint.) Plus, if I ever want to put the spoiler back on, I can just push the plugs out and bolt it back on.
Looks great! I came across this post a while back and wished the pics were still there. Thanks for putting them back up. I don't know much about painting, I have some touchup paint but where do I get the clear from? Is it a spray? I'm also wondering if the silicone will be too harsh in the long run. I might do this on Saturday!

Hey, another question- Do you have an up-close pic? This is by far the cleanest spoiler hole plugging I've seen.
