I am a little upset. No cowl hood

Well to make it short I tried to order a 3" trufiber cowl hood from stage3motorsports. Well they gave me an awesome deal with free shipping. So I call them back a few days later to check on the status of my hood and roush bumper. Well they call trufiber and then tell me that the hood is on 6-8 week back order. So I was mad and saw that they delt with cervini as well. So I asked me to call about getting there cowl hood for an even swap. So I have to call them back because they can't call me back for some reason to get it resolved. They say it will be 2 weeks and we need 250 more dollars. So I told them to give me back my money on the hood and now I don't have a hood coming.

I don't really want to pay shipping because everyone wants to charge me 150-200 bucks for shipping. I call trufiber and asked if they had any local distributors and they said no. The cervini hood would be $650 shipped to me as well. So I don't know what to do my local mustang parts place can't get a cowl hood for under $650 so I can't go that route. I am just tired of all the bull. Oh well thanks for letting me vent. I guess I will go cowl less for awhile untill I get some more money. Thanks for listening.

To be honest I'd save the money and not buy from TruFiber. Do a search and you'll see how many stories come about their products.

I have one of their hoods and consider myself one of the lucky ones but others were not. Just a little FYI.
