Any of you hydrodiped any thing on your car?

 

I would LOVE to do a few pieces, but cannot find an avenue locally to have it done.

 

What is hydro dipping?

I work next to a company that does it... They just got a military contract ... They even do guns and what not

The 5.0 stuff u see is chrome plated they do That too ...

To give you an idea of how much it cost they are only charging me $40 to my throttle body if I Remember right

 

Oh an they did a raptor tail gate in that skull pattern ... It was sick

They can do stuff the size of hoods I believe

 

The stuff they can do with that technology is pretty awesome. What's it run to do the radiator cover piece under the good? Out of curiosity.

And they have a guy on staff that can create your own design ... That's the only reason my intake,intake manifold,valve covers...ect are not done yet... I'm trying to come up w something stunning yet not very loud

They are going to see if they can get my OEM grille done as well ... I want a graphic (what ever theme I go w on the motor) on the inside of each honeycomb ... They are not sure it's going to work, but if it does I think it will help win car shows

Yea that's the print the raptor had... I can't decide what to go with ... But I should have my mind made up within a month or so I want to get it all done...

If any of you would like to send me something like a intake cover ill see if they will hook you up w a free dip on it to show the forum their quality

 

Do you know if they can do the actual intake manifold, or does that have too many weird angles and curves and stuff?

I have seen pics of a 4.6 intake but just the top was dipped. It looked awesome.

Had this done about a year ago...

 

Really interested in having several engine components done in a red carbon fiber and my hoses in a white carbon fiber . I just got a quote of 550 which seem high for only a couple parts . Does anyone have a company that they recommend and/or had good experiences with thanks!!!

 

I have a bunch of interior parts curentlt at MRT getting black carbon fiber hydro carbon dip done to them. I am getting the radio bezel, centre console, mirror control panels and the steering wheel spokes.

I am also thinking of doing the seat plastic surrounds done.

 

I'm getting a ton if you guys needing pricing... I'm going to post a price sheet after the holidays so you all can use it as a reference ... This company will beat any price
