How do you take the rear emblem off?

Was needing to take off my rear GT emblem so I could place a blackout decal on. Was wondering what bolts actually needed to be removed to get the emblem off. Also, is there a seal between the emblem and the trunk?

I believe it has sticky tape on it also. I have heard that some people have had their emblems stolen so I was suprised that there were any bolts holding on.

No bolts holding it on,it is just stuck on, just pull and it will come off.

Hmmm. I have just received a new emblem that I purchased online and it has 3 bolts. And I'm still trying to figure out how to get that black deal off the inside of the trunk lid to get to them.

There aren't any bolts....

It's on with emblem adhesive/tape.

I just took mine off last week. It's on there with douible sided tape only. I used a hair dryer and heated it up, then pulled strong fishing line down between the emblem and the trunk. It's a little difficult, but manageable. Good luck!
