Hood, Spoiler and Stripes!

Hood, Spoiler and Stripes!
Picked her up yesterday from the body guy. Awesome job. Kaenen "Shelby-inspired" hood (non-functional) and SSE ducktail. The stripes are layed to the EXACT 1965-1966 Shelby dimensions. They taper along the length of the car, from a minimum of 9.25" and maximum of 10.5" or 10.625" (don't have the dimensions handy right now). I am extremely impressed.
BTW, Lebanon Valley Dragway tomorrow for the first ETs. Will post when I get back.

The hood is made by Kaenen, out of Florida. Their website does not work. I believe Blow By Racing sells this hood as the BBR-500. I got mine directly from Kaenen, which was a bit of a pain. As a manufacturer, and not a retailer, there response time is iffy. The quality of the hood, however, is unmatched. The body guy said it was the best aftermarket hood he has ever seen.
Here is the link to BBR:

If anyone has the BBR hood, check and see if "KAENEN" is molded into the underside of the hood, front driver's side.
Champion Fiberglass Products makes a similar hood, but I have heard the quality isn't as good. I would recommend getting in touch with Kaenen or BBR. The Kaenen number is listed on their website (www.Kaenen.com)

Does the SSE Ducktail cover up the holes from the factory wing? Or did you get a spoiler delete when you bought the car?

Is the SSE available without the opening for the third brake light?
Looks good! I really like the hood. What's next, rims/tires, tint?

Hey 06, from one Vista Blue with White Stripes owner to another, your car looks incredible
. Except for your hood, we basically have twins (Check out my pics below) Doesn't the white just really set the blue off so well?
And I just love my SSE spoiler, and have gotten so many compliments on it, as many wished Ford had this type of spoiler as a factory option. BTW, your hood is the 1st that I have seen that I really like. I like that the scopps are really low profile, and look really retro.Too bad I already had my stripes painted and such. Maybe in a year or so, I can get a new hood. Congrats on your car. Hope your enjoying it.
