hood scoop help!

I have been looking for a hood scoop but I have a bunch of questions. First, im looking for a pre painted hood scoop that bolts on to the hood. I have looked at roush ones and they look great but i dont want to drill the holes myself. Who should i go to and how much will it cost? Are their any other scoops that are not so bulky, pre painted and BOLT onto the hood?

Ive checked out Astras and love it but it doesnt bolt on and ive seen 3d carbons as well but dont favor it.

have you thought about a shaker? they are nice......

but they are also expensive and you would have to pay for install if you dont want to do it yourself.

I have the gt/cs hood scop and i drilled and bolted it my self. They come with a fool proof templet. Really easy. Paint should always be done with your car as a match, especially the hood. Cost around 100.00 for paint, 45.00 for install. Hope this helps.

I bought a ROUSH scoop and love it..we painted and installed it ourselves( my son and I)..it was tough drilling holes into the hood of a new car,but the ROUSH scoop comes with a fool proof templete..it aligns off of the washer squirters..so easy,a caveman could do it..Robert

Save your money and get a functional hood. Trufiber offer several style hoods, they even have the hood with Roush style scoop built in.
Some of their customer selling the hood for 400-500 bone.

I see some of the hood scoop prepainted go for 200-250 y not save couple hundred more and get a new functional hood....

jsut my $0.02

here are are few pix of their hoods...

+1 on the shaker if you must interrupt the beautiful, flawlessly smooth aluminum hood...
