Hood Scoop

Okay, I love my hood scoop but it's time to replace it with another type. After originally fixing the rear corner problem...after 10 months it is starting to lift again. Has anyone swapped out their hood scoop with an aftermarket one that covers the drilled holes? I know there are some nice scooped hoods outhere, but I would like to keep the original hood...just use a different scoop.

They look good, but the quality is not there. They have a tendency to lift and not look flush with the hood. IMO, Ford should have molded them into the hood.

I would love to remove it, only to add a nicer one. A Mustang without a hood scoop is for chicks

Al, I installed my GTAP scoop about 10 months ago as well, but no lifting here. I am 100% satisfied with the product and how it fits. Sorry yours didn't fit right.

Steve - I'm going to have the dealer replace it during my next service. I will eventually convince myself to buy a hood with a molded scoop...

Except if you want a GT-H hood and did not get the GT appearance pkg.
