Hood pins....POLISHED or BLACK or NONE?

Folks, should I continue the BLACK/RED theme with my hood pins? Or would the POLISHED ones look better? Or none at all? Please vote. I decided against the splitters and I'm looking at some hood pins instead. thx!

Not a fan of hood pins so I vote against them. The only hood pins I'd consider are the recessed one's that come on the KR hoods.

I say black. Polished would look out of place on your car, in my opinion.

If you are going to install them, black would look best

Cool Love the "KR" pins!!

Plus one on the "KR" pins! Smooth!! Have seen these on a "KR" in the shop and they are so very hot!! But sadly they don't work on a conventional Stang hood! CalStang

I prefer the black, but I went with the polished for my ride. After putting the pins in and out numerous times, I am wondering if anyone who has the black has seen the paint wear off. That was the deciding factor for me. I didn't want the pins rubbing against the black billet aluminum piece and scratching the black paint.

I'd go with none. I'm not a fan of the cable hanging down possibly scratching the hood.

Yes. I have already re-painted mine once, and they need it again. I need to just get them powder coated...between that, and the three, yes, three sets of rusty lanyards i went thru......

Never again.......

Go for the polished. After 3 years I have had no issues with mine and they are the FRRP cheap ones.

I've had mine on for several months now and no scratches on the hood at all despite some......ah.....somewhat higher speeds shall we say... I do have the infamous rust in the lanyards however.

How come? Mine completely fixed my hood flutter issue. I tried adjusting the stops and other methods but nothing worked until I put the hood pins in. Now I have zero flutter at any speeds. Before at anything over 65 mph I thought my hood was going to vibrate off and fly down the road no doubt decapitating some little old lady with a family full of lawyers...

Simply my opinion, which is subject to change depending on what kind of mood I'm in.

(crap, I'm starting to sound like my wife)

This mod is fuctional. My hood had hellashake. Problem is now no more. I had hood flutter at normal highway speeds, and scary flutter at passing speeds. So while some might not oike the looks and think it blingy, I considered it a have to mod.
