Is any one else considering putting in pins. I like the look.
Are they expensive? I know I'm going to have to have them installed I'm not brave enough to take a drill to the hood of a car.

I think Billet will have Hood pins for the 2005, as well as all of their normal parts.

Once I decide on the hood I want I will most likely be installing the pins. I just won't do what my buddy did in his 90GT. He washed his car and forgot to put the pins back in. Flew down the road and his fiberglass hood went bye-bye

Yeah, but they will be $200 each. They are so over priced IMO

If your going to install hood pins why not do it right and install a set of original ford pins.

http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts/part_...rtKeyField=1279

around 35.00 and some change from summit (if memory serves)

Mine are going on when I get my car, in a couple weeks

Don't mean to flame here, but what is the point of putting these on? Is this American rice?

Not sure but I personally don't care for them. They look out of place on a new car. just my opinion though.

Amazing how hood pins do absolutely nothing to really make the car look better or perform better!

on a stock hood...... maybe. I personally wouldn't put them on a stock hood without a reason. However, most aftermarket hoods require them.

though in retrospective that is a pretty picky call. Imo it's no big deal for a car, import or otherwise, to throw on a couple small things that don't really do anything. I am a huge rice hater but i can respect the fact that some people just want a some small tweeks. when you get into 4,000 stickers, fake emblems, unpainted ugly body kits, and alot of attitude about a peice of crap 4-banger i get pissed.
