I've got the Shelby billet pins without the logo, pins are great whats a $100 when I've probably already spent an extra $8,000 on the car.

I agree, at this point what's another 100.00 LOL. Problem is they are backordered at this time, the rep at Shelby said look for about 3 weeks for them to come in.

yes that is what I got also. I have not installed them yet, but they have a great build quality and will not rust like all the non billet ones

I'm glad I got mine earlier. Best news is their functional and they really work. I had a bad hood flutter at only 70mph.

I talked to a Shelby rep tonight, said they are still backordered (only the ones WITHOUT the Shelby name on them) and they have been waiting for a while, not sure when they'll be in. Gonna try blue oval tomorrow to make sure they are in stock before ordering them...

How was the install? Did you do them yourself or have them done at a shop?

Big thing for me with the Shelby's is the included bracket and supposed ease of installation.

And if I can avoid rust thats a big plus

Sparco is aluminum with the exception of the pin, which is replaceable if you ever need to without replacing the whole unit. (pins are available at places like ACE Hardware).

We've got the Sparco kits in stock, it's what we use on our race cars, and what we recommend for a safe, effective pin solution that doesn't break the bank - plus they are available in 3 colors.

I had them installed. I like the fact that there are no cables and like Marcello said, you won't break the bank

Tell you what Marcello, maybe I'll order the Sparco's from you when I place my order for the GT\CS lower grill inserts
My cars needs some pins, but it SCREAMING for your inserts.
No intention on hijacking this thread, just couldn't resist

On a serious note, are there other pin kits out there aside from the Shelby's that come with brackets, or at least don't require welding to install? Would really like to do this install myself, but welding IS NOT an option for me...

Yea, I like those. A little more than I wanted to spend though, especially since I's have to shell out another $36.00 for the lanyards...
