I like the 05 styling but the hood seems rather plain. I think that an aftermarket company could sell alot of hoods like this one.

I know that proglass.com has a similiar hood, but they use the 1970 stripe design with a shaker. I would prefer a 69 matt (spelling?) black hood.

I . Just my opinion.

I must give credit to hispony. I took a picture he had posted of his car at http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?sh...pic=6217&st=320 and photoshoped a 69 boss hood onto it. The angle of his car most closely matched the photo I found of a 69 boss.

I don't think that hood matches the '05 body lines. JMO

Classic Design Concepts is bringing one to market. It will be available with or without the hole for the Shaker.

Brad,

I'm pretty sure that's the same hood as proglass.com's. I believe I read in another thread that proglass makes the hoods for CDC.

Fang performance has joined forces with profinish-proglass. The hood was designed and produced by profinish-proglass. We have made our own shaker system to channel air to the air box. Profinish-proglass has been a distributor of CDC parts for about 4 years. We will be selling parts but our thrust is to do conversions for customers and dealers (tuner cars). The 05 mustang is our main focus. Us and CDC will be selling a shaker hood that is compatible with the CDC shaker system. We will also be selling the CDC shaker system. We will also be selling a different version of the shaker hood that will be matched to our shaker system. Pictuers of the black GT will be posted on the website after the Columbus meet. This is the first package we are offering. Many more packages will be coming in the very near future.
I guess you could buy their hood and have it painted like a 69 boss.

I like the shaker idea a lot, not sure if I like the added 69 Boss ID to hood because the O5 does not have a point. Seeing in person and time will tell. Interesting thought.

Yeah that's my point (no pun intended). The 05 needs a hood like the 69-70 to make the matte black hood (hood pins would be nice too) work on the 05. Also, I've seen the CDC pictures of the shaker with the factory (read flat) hood and it just doesn't look right to me. See link below.
