Mesh looks good, but the support brackets will leave a lot to be desired...

This was just the fitting stage the completed part is sanded, deburred painted flat black with 1/2" wide black vinyl edge trim around the perferated aluminum grill. It mounts up under the lower opening using two 8mm screws that stick out abut 1" on either side. I made aluminum spacers 2,1/2" long one end 8mm internal thrd. the other 1/4-20 threads. The top bar is 1/4"X1"X 33" aluminum, the center support bar is 1/8"X3/4" X 12" aluminum the grill is fromgrilleguy.com it has 72% opening for good air flow. The center support is bolted to the plastic back near the radiator with SS fender washers sandwhiched bettween 1/8 " thick rubber washers with a 1/4-20 SS screw. When it's in you can barely see it which was what I wanted. I like the wide open look.

Looks good, I like projects like this. Do you have a link to the seller of the mesh? I've got another project that needs something like that.

This was the RAZAR grill from the grilleguy.com website. You can buy it in different size sheets, Easy to cut with snips, bends easy also. The trim and screws and rubber sheet came from Mc Master Carr.com online catalog.
