help who knows how to install cover
#2
Pony Power this install is pretty straight forward.
I am assuming you also got the new throttle body studs and nuts along with the cover, you will need them as they hold the front of the cover.
Remove the top two throttle body bolts, I think they are 8mm. Then install the two new studs.
Then just sort of sit the cover on the intake. You will see where the sides mount, from what I can remember there is a couple of push clips that hold the wiring harness, just pull those off.
Fit the cover onto the intake, push clips back on, they will hold down the intake cover and install the two nuts on the newly installed throttle body studs to hold the front.
Hope this helps.

What he said!
Is your car an 05 or 06? Post and sig don't match.
You may already have the longer studs if your car is an 06.
If it is an 05 like is in your sig then you will need the replacement studs.

ok there is a bigger question here, did you buy the factory cover or the MidWest Auto Gear, if it is the factory and you have an 06 then you need to buy the new studs, because the 06 does not come with the studs from the factory. if you bought the MWAG then you do not need the studs but you need to loosen the bolts that hold the fuel rail, but MWAG has more detailed instructions

is it silver with "powered by ford" on the side, if it is then just take off the top bolts on the TB and pick up the snaps on the back of the fuel rail. next install the new studs in the TB longer side goes into the TB the shorter side sticks out. then slide the cover over the new studs through the two holes then slide it over the fuel rail bolts and put the snaps back on and put the nuts on the studs and your done.
if it is not that intake and it is another then you will have to use the MWAG instructions which you can find here:
