Hey guys, just wanted to see if anyone knows the exact color and size of the stripes on this Mustang? I'm guessing they are 12" but I was wondering if there's a specific silver/gray color? Would it just be these ones from American Muscle?

Yes, those are defiantly 12"in Silver Racing Stripes! I see you already have the link to our site! I would suggest checking out our customer submitted photos on the link you posted! There is a ton of cars running that stripe.

Are you sure those aren't 10" stripes? It looks like 10" stripes with a 2" gap? Anyone know for sure?

 

They look like 10" with a 2" gap to me too.

As for color, those aren't silver, they are grey. I saw the owner made a post on another forum and those are the grey ones from Baltimore Street Mods. I want to say I found the post when googling images for "mustang gunmetal".

 

So you think they would be the "dark gray" option from Baltimore Street Mods? And not the "charcoal metallic" then? There's no "gray" option other than just the "dark grey."

 

My hunch says dark grey, as I want to say the charcoal color is fairly new, but I would probably ask BSM, as they would know for sure. ...or maybe they could even send you some samples or scrap pieces of each of those, if they have them.

BTW...I think that color in the pic looks really good. I had been wondering if they would match the gunmetal Forgestars or Nurburgrings.

 

I emailed them and asked if they knew and if they could send me color samples. I don't like that the website doesn't let you see a sample of the color you're buying. They have some, but not all colors. I kind of want to know exactly what I'm buying before I pay $150 or whatever it is for it.

 

They said they can't tell, but their best guess is either slate metallic or dark gray. They said the charcoal metallic is too dark to be that color. This is the slate metallic picture on the website...

 

That looks sharp. I bet both would look good. Let me know if you end up ordering either of them, as like you, I'd like to see some more pics on cars...especially black cars.
