Has anyone tried taking the clear lense off a headlight yet ?????

The reason I am asking , is I am thinking of doing this , I want to paint the bucket around the light , and reinstall the clear lense . Any help or ideas would be great . And thanks ahead of time for the help .

Do a search on the forums for "painted headlight buckets"and you may find what you're looking for.
