Headlamp assembly removal
Anyone have any tips or instructions for headlamp assembly removal?
Will it come out without taking too much of the front off or are there other hidden bolts elsewhere?
Looking to paint the assembly sonic blue to match the body like others have done. Leaving the plastic cover on as I don;t want to run sealed beam lights.
Thanks,
Erick

If you go onto the Steeda web site and look at their HID lights for our cars , there is a PDF on how to remove the old ones and install the new ones ...

Uh, actually, in removing the front fascia.....once unbolted, just slide it forward. No need to actually remove it. You can then easily reach that "hidden" third bolt for the headlight assembly. Much better than taking the nose off and having to find a safe place for it, nor clumsly trying to re-instal.

Here's some during shots and a view of the "hidden bolts". Recommend the wife is gone when you do this or she will freak out when she sees the parts laying around the driveway.
PS - Also it's a good time to do the turn signal lenses to smoke/clear.

Thanks for the photos.
My wife's use to parts laying all around the driveway and house. I restore classic mustangs so there's always some car in pieces at my house.
