I was looking at the parts shopper and saw the replica hood pins. Has anyone tried these? How do they look? How do they install?

Thanks

With your color scheme I think hood pins would be great. It would really give it more of the Shelby retro look. Fake ones :nono: I have a set of Ford Racing pins for sale on the for sale page.

I ordered these and returned them after looking at them closeup--they just didn't look convincing. I suggest biting the bullet and having a shop install the real thing. That's what I did and am very pleased with the results...sure I had to wait until I save some bucks, but it was worth it.

again, there is that darn drill wanting to dance on the new pony. It's going to be soooooo hard to do.

How much did a shop charge you to install the pins?

I'll go back and look and see if they broke that out. I had about $800 worth of work (paint, decals, hood pins, hood lifts). But I recall the shop owner saying the pins were about an hour's work, so at $50 and hour...
