Sylvania offers the H13XV (XtraVision) halogen upgrade lamp for the headlights and the 9145ST (Silver Star) for the foglights is due to be released by the end of the month.

I did a side-by-side comparison of the H13 versus the H13XV. I can't see any measureable difference between the two. If you're looking for whiter and brighter, this isn't the way to go. I'm returning the ones I bought.

I just looked at the Nokya Arctic white H13 lamps from a previous post. I like the look, but if you pardon my ignorance, do these just replace the standard bulb? I thought halogens required other changes to the wiring, so I was told?

Does this impact the warrenty?

I got the Nokya Artic White H13's and I have the Nokya Artic White 9145ST's on order. No special wiring b/c they are stock voltage and stock heat (so no housing melting) is what I was told ... hope that's right! So far, with the new headlights and stock fog lights, I feel mixed about it. I love how blue-white the headlights look, but, frankly, they don't seem brighter. I think I have to wait until I get the fog's in to really tell.
