GT500KR / V6Pony Spoiler on GT/CS 'vert

Got rid of the "wing" spoiler and decided to try this one out. I like the wing spoiler on the fastback Mustangs but the 'vert, IMO, looks better with this flat style spoiler (or none at all). This will be rather unique on the GT/CS. I'll post other pics later. This is the best I could do with the flash.

Looking forward to some full pics as I have one sitting in the basement and still undecided if I want to go this route or just keep it spoilerless with the holes plugged.

That's where I found mine, but it did take a while. All I could find locally was black, but it only cost $40 and was in pretty good shape. Paid $175 to get it repainted. The total cost of $215 was a little more than a regular GT500 style pre-painted from the Spoiler Store, but I was wanted to use the KR/V6 type.

Funny you should mention the plugged - spoilerless look. I went months with mine using these plugs from Autozone and a 4 small pieces of rope caulk. No leaks. My next step would have been a painted set of Bumper Plugs using the rope caulk in the spoiler holes. More Spoiler pics later...

Been running my plugs (which I painted Alloy using touch up paint) for a couple years now, but my car is not a DD and never sees rain, so I did not bother trying to seal them. And with it being Alloy, the plugs blend in nicely, which is why I have been in no hurry to figure out the long term plan. I think the best looking spoiler is the CDC ducktail, but that means filling the holes.

Pics - it finally stopped raining

More pics of the GT/CS with V6 Pony / 09 GT500KR Spoiler. I'm happy with it. It's fairly unique on this body/model, plus I can see over the 'vert boot with no obstruction, the spoiler, as you can see lays very flat.

Don't flame bros on the CS fake gas cap - I always liked that logo. It stands for California Special right? LOL.

Ive got a GT/CS vert with the wing spoiler and have been considering swapping it out for the GT500 spoiler.. Looks nice in white as mine is.

Now that I bought the spoiler like you are getting rid of, I will be attempting to sell my flat one... lol the irony.

Darn, I would have traded you my black GT wing for your V6er.

GT500 spoiler looks real good on the fastback. I like the flat spoiler on the 'vert, plus rear visibility is a little better without the wing on pedestal sticking up.
