GT500 or "style" ducktail
Did a search but most the info was from awhile back. Looking for Feedback on the spoliers from Ebay sellers:
$220 plus $18.95 shipping- Painted
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...7219&rd=1&rd=1
$160 plus $30 Shipping- Painted
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...5438418&rd=1,1
$99 plus $29 shipping) - Painted
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PAINT...QQcmdZViewItem
Also any input on factory and 3dCarbon.
My first inclination is "you get what you pay for", but wondering if anyone is sporting any of these, paint quality, lasting? design, etc. I want one that uses the stock holes preferred.
Thanks!

Hey there,
OK, I just received my spoiler, the second one you have listed from E Bay, on Saturday. Color match is dead on, and MG is not the easiest to match. No shipping damage, fairly well protected. It uses two of the four factory holes for installation, plus 3M tape. You can also drill two additional holes to the outside, should you desire. Here are a few pics for you. Please keep in mind that the spoiler was just sitting on the car, not completely installed. I was marking the spoiler to add the stripes before installing. (SS Superstripe was a REAL treat on this spoiler... )
I would buy again, especially at this price. Ordered on the 4th, received on the 16th....

Really do not know who the actual manufacturer is. Everything that came with the spoiler is identified as "The Spoiler Store" The guy has over 4100 E Bay responses, all positive....
The third link you listed, I contacted them, but they did not have MG, and are only selling the colors they list.....Made me a bit nervous...
Here is another source, if you want to check. I have seen excellent feedback on this one as well...

I'm really anxious to get it installed, after doing the stripe yesterday. Unfortunately, I am still dealing with this bad knee, and cannot drive, nor have I for 2 weeks..... ....sucks.....

Wow that's funny about the link to Atlanta Mustang..... I check them every so often but hadn't looked there lately- thanks for the link! That's a good deal and I know there are several people here on the forum that have had good luck with their products.

I have one from Sportwing (first on the list) I think I paided $220 shipped at the time.
Sportwing is the the retail side for the manufacturer Dawn Ent. Quality was very good and paint match was dead on for Vista Blue. I'm very happy with it.

Just FYI, the reason I ordered the Sportwing instead of the Atlanta is because I wanted to have the additional holes towards the outside of the spoiler. I know a couple people here on the forum have had problems with the taped versions lifting on the outside edges.

Not to threadjack, but what did you guys use to seal up the holes when you replaced your stock spoiler with the Shelby-like spoiler? I'm looking at getting the Atlanta Mustang replica, myself.

I have the SportsWing spoiler. It uses all four factory holes. Self tapping screws were provided to screw up into the new spoiler. I went ahead and added the 2 outside holes as well. The deck lid is aluminum, so drilling the holes was easy, once you get past the nervousness of drilling holes in your car. The good news is, it's all more than covered up by the spoiler, so it doesn't have to look perfect. Double sided foam tape (3M) provides a seal around all of the holes.
There is another thread around here with some more pics and install tips. I think it has something to do w/ DG custom in the title. It was the company several of us ordered from. It cost more as they are a middle man. The box arrived and it was from SportsWing, so you may as well order directly from their eBay site.

Here is that thread I was talking about. I posted some pics on page 3, there are some others on page 2. Like I said, save your money and get it from SportsWing directly, unlike me.

If the Sportwing spoiler uses all four factory holes, there wouldn't be a need to seal anything up right? Also to keep the edges from lifting, couldn't I just add some 3M heavy duty double sided tape to the edges of the spoiler where it will be in contact with the trunk lid. If I get the spoiler, I doubt it's ever coming off, but again I don't want to add additional holes to my trunk either.
