You know, I used to not care much for the GT500 spoiler at all, but now I almost can't stand the stock GT spoiler the more I look at it. It ruins the flow of the rear end of the car IMO. It looks good on the 99-04 Mustangs, but the GT500 spoiler really does looks sleek on the 05-13's.

Be careful when installing the new spoiler, there is some wiggle room to it. You only have one shot with the double sided tape. When I did mine, I peeled back about an inch of the film on each band of tape. Just enough to stick out past the spoiler. Mounted it and snugged up the bolts and made sure it was centered. Then peeled the film off the tape and tightened up the bolts.

I just got to see a 2008 GT500 in person today and it definitely pushed me over the edge. The spoiler looks so nice in person. Ordering one this week for sure.

Awesome. Can't wait to see it installed. It is a pretty simple installation process.

Actually just ordered it today from The Spoiler Store on eBay. What's the easiest way to get the stock spoiler off and any tips for putting the new one on? I also ordered stripes for it and I'm assuming obviously I would want the spoiler on the car before the stripes are put on the spoiler so they can line up correctly?

Do it with a friend, that's my recommendation. The old 3m tape crap from the stock spoiler can be a pain in the butt.

Also, pick up some silicon sealant stuff if you dont already have some so you can seal up the hole you won't be using any more, and prevent any leaks around the new bolt.
