GT500 shocks and springs
Hi
Did someone used GT500 shocks and springs on their GT痴 ?
I have 07 GT convertible with manual
When it was on stock springs it was extremely high seated.
Now I知 using BMR (handling series) springs good looking and better (or I知 think so ) handling. But it is too low for me and my driving environment ))) scrached car lot of times from the bottom ;(
So searching for something middle level between stock and bmr 1.5inch drop
Oem springs
look at the rear end! It is terrible hight !

Ford Racing (FRPP) sells springs that are 1" drop.
The stock GT500 rear springs sit very high compared to the front, if I remember right I think it was something like 2.75" higher than the front (measuring from the ground to the top of the wheel opening).
So I doubt that you'd want them.
This is my wife's '08 GT500 on its stock shocks/springs (at the time), you can easily see the huge rear wheel gap:

yeah, you definitely do NOT want GT500 springs for your regular GT; they will sit very high because the GT500 weighs more than the regular GT, especially in the front
there are a wide variety of lowering springs available and you should be able to find a set that gives you the drop that you want; I would start by looking on American Muscle simply because they have a lot of options
the GT500 shocks and struts are a good match for many lowering springs, in case you see some as take-offs with low mileage
